Soda PDF is a full-featured PDF creation and edition tool. There are three versions of this application: Creator, Editor and Max. The latter has a complete set of features for creation and edition of any PDF file, while the Creator and Editor versions vary a bit. The Creator version has features that make PDF creation quite easy, such as creating PDF files from the print menu, from MS Office, a batch-processing mode, and more. The Editor, on the other hand, has a different set of features. It has a text and image editor, a find-and-replace engine, copy, cut and paste support, etc. They both share some features, though. For example, they both can perform as great PDF viewers and have the exact same set of features in that department. They both cost $56. The Max version is $84. The trial version that you download is a 14-day fully functional copy of the Max version.
The graphical user interface looks a lot like that of MS Office 2007. Each of the menus is complete with a ton of features. There are lots of text modification tools, support for links, signatures, etc. I found it a bit hard to type in a lot of text using this app. However, if you have MS Office, you can use Soda PDF to save documents to PDF quite easily.
All in all, Soda PDF is an incredibly complete PDF tool. It has a very helpful user guide and lots and lots of features. I found it isn't easy to write text with it, but I might have been using the wrong tool. The MS Office conversion tools make up for that little flaw.
Browsing PDF files with this tool was easy as well, and it was quite fast.
